April 2014 Meeting
The next meeting of the Thames Valley Association is at 2:00pm on 3rd April at Chiltern District Council offices, Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
We will have the opportunity to hear from a number of experts who will discuss flooding, enforcement regulations, appeals and case law in this afternoon session. These popular speakers promise a lively and interesting meeting, particularly valuable to practitioners and students:
- Gary Watson, Deputy Chief Executive of the IRRV, will provide an update on case law and comment on the coalition governments flood support schemes and other discounts and reliefs announced for this year.
- Darren Howard-Tomes, Relationship Manager for the Valuation Office Agency, will provide a perspective on flooding and appeals.
- David Lunn, Revenues Manager at Chiltern District Council, will give a local authority response to the enforcement regulations.
This meeting is a fantastic opportunity to hear expert speakers on key current topics and to network generally. The meeting is free to IRRV members and £20 for non-members.
